About Our Babydolls
We are a small family-owned farm. Five years ago we moved our family to a 1900 farmhouse and the twenty-six acres that surrounded it. We began searching for small livestock to bring to the farm. One look at these babydolls and we knew these were the little woolies that would make our farm complete.
We purchased two ewe lambs and travelled to Ohio to bring them home. These girls became the heart of our farm and every season we gain more experience and fine tune the focus of our breeding program. Our goal is to breed sheep of correct conformation, quality fleece and friendly temperaments. I want our buyers to love these sheep as much as I do.
Our flock of two ewes has grown to a small, sustainable flock of black and off-white sheep. We have lambs available each spring. We use the fiber for yarn. We collect milk for handmade soaps. Nothing, however, compares to the peacefulness of sitting in the pasture surrounded by sheep resting, grazing and chewing their cud.
Our flock is registered with the OEBSSR and NABSSAR registries. We run biosecurity screening on our sheep annually and currently have a Johnes, CL and OPP negative flock.
